Reducing Screen Clutter from Held Items
Why Item Size Matters
When you hold large items like shields, food, or totems of undying, they can block your view of the world. Blue Paradise shrinks these held items so they take up less screen space while remaining visible and functional.
Managing Your View
1. Hold any large item — shields, food, totems, or weapons
2. Notice the reduced size compared to vanilla Minecraft — the item appears smaller in your hand
3. Maintain better visibility of your surroundings while still seeing what you're holding
4. Switch between items freely — the size reduction applies consistently across all affected items
This is particularly useful during combat when a large shield can obscure enemies or terrain, or when eating food during dangerous situations where you need to see threats clearly. The smaller held items don't affect functionality; they work exactly the same way, just with better screen real estate.
The feature also applies to spyglasses and carved pumpkins, which normally create full-screen overlays. Blue Paradise removes these overlays entirely, letting you see the world while using these items. This makes exploration and scouting much more practical without sacrificing the items' abilities.
