Installation and Basic Use

Bloody Shaders is a visual mod that transforms Minecraft's appearance into a dark, horror-themed world. Once installed, the shader automatically applies its effects to your game—no configuration needed to start.

The mod works by altering the game's lighting system and color palette. Expect significantly darker environments with a red atmospheric tint affecting the sky and all light sources. Shadows become deeper and more pronounced, making it harder to spot mobs at a glance.

This shader works best in exploration and survival modes where the eerie atmosphere enhances immersion. Standard biomes become unrecognizable gothic landscapes. If the darkness becomes too extreme for gameplay, you may need to adjust your monitor's brightness or use torches more liberally for visibility.
