Crafting Gingham and Patterned Wool

Gingham and Patterned Wool come in color variants such as Black Gingham Wool and Black Patterned Wool. Craft each from wool and dye at a crafting table. From the full wool block you can make Black Gingham Wool Slab, Black Gingham Wool Stairs, Black Patterned Wool Slab, and Black Patterned Wool Stairs. The matching carpets are Black Gingham Carpet and Black Patterned Carpet.

Flooring and Furnishing

Use Black Gingham Carpet and Black Patterned Carpet as thin floor coverings over any solid block. Lay them in alternating strips to create a woven look, or run a single carpet down a hallway as a runner. Black Gingham Wool Slab works as a low platform for beds and seating, while Black Gingham Wool Stairs make soft-looking steps and tiered seating. Black Patterned Wool Slab and Black Patterned Wool Stairs do the same with the patterned texture. Because these are wool blocks, they read as fabric rather than stone, so use them where you want a warmer surface.
