What Nethersteel Covers

Nethersteel is the top tier in the mod and exists for every Brimsteel combat and utility item: Nethersteel Sword, Nethersteel Pickaxe, Nethersteel Axe, Nethersteel Shovel, Nethersteel Hoe, Nethersteel Shield, Nethersteel Helmet, Nethersteel Chestplate, Nethersteel Leggings, Nethersteel Boots, and Nethersteel Horse Armor. There is no Nethersteel Ingot in the registry, so you do not craft these from raw metal — you obtain them by upgrading the matching Brimsteel item.

Upgrading at the Smithing Table

Every Nethersteel item is produced by a smithing_transform recipe. Put the matching Brimsteel item in the base slot of a smithing table, add the required upgrade material in the addition slot, and take the Nethersteel result. For example, Brimsteel Leggings upgrade into Nethersteel Leggings, and Brimsteel Horse Armor upgrades into Nethersteel Horse Armor.

Build Order

Upgrade your Nethersteel Sword and Nethersteel Pickaxe first for immediate combat and mining gains. Then upgrade the four armor pieces — Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots — so your whole set matches. After that, upgrade the Shield, Axe, Shovel, Hoe, and Horse Armor as you need them. Because each upgrade consumes the Brimsteel item, craft a fresh Brimsteel piece whenever you want another Nethersteel one.
