How to Craft Brimsteel Ingots and the Block of Brimsteel

Getting Brimsteel Ingots

Brimsteel Ingot is the base material for every Brimsteel tool, weapon, and armor piece. You also need Brimsteel Nugget for finer recipes. Once you have ingots, combine nine of them in a crafting grid to produce a Block of Brimsteel, which is the storage and decoration form of the metal.

Working Down From the Block

A Block of Brimsteel can be broken back down into nine Brimsteel Ingots when you need them for crafting. Brimsteel Nugget is the smaller unit used in recipes that call for less than a full ingot. Keep a stack of ingots on hand before you start crafting gear, because most Brimsteel recipes consume multiple ingots at once.

What to Build First

Prioritize a Brimsteel Pickaxe and Brimsteel Sword so you can gather and fight while wearing your new gear. Then craft Brimsteel Helmet, Brimsteel Chestplate, Brimsteel Leggings, and Brimsteel Boots to fill out the armor set. A Brimsteel Shield is worth making early if you expect ranged or melee pressure. Flint and Brimsteel is a fire-starting tool you can craft from Brimsteel materials when you need to light fires or ignite blocks. Brimsteel Horse Armor lets you equip a mount with the same metal.
