Crafting the Full Brimsteel Tool, Weapon, and Armor Set

Tools and Weapons

Brimsteel covers the standard tool lineup: Brimsteel Pickaxe, Brimsteel Axe, Brimsteel Shovel, and Brimsteel Hoe. For combat you can craft a Brimsteel Sword and a Brimsteel Shield. Each of these is made through a crafting_shaped recipe, so arrange the Brimsteel Ingots in the pattern the recipe shows in your crafting grid. Gather enough Brimsteel Ingot before you start so you are not stopping between pieces.

Armor and Extras

Armor comes in four slots: Brimsteel Helmet, Brimsteel Chestplate, Brimsteel Leggings, and Brimsteel Boots. Craft all four to wear a complete set. Brimsteel Horse Armor is a separate craft that lets you equip a horse with Brimsteel protection. Flint and Brimsteel is a fire-lighting tool you can make from Brimsteel materials. Brimsteel Nugget appears in recipes that need a smaller amount of metal than a full ingot.

Order of Crafting

Start with the Pickaxe so you can mine, then the Sword for defense. Add the Shield next if you take hits often. Fill the four armor slots after that. Save the Hoe, Shovel, Axe, Horse Armor, and Flint and Brimsteel for when you actually need them. Every piece you make here can later be upgraded to its Nethersteel counterpart at a smithing table.
