Crafting the Remote Detonator

The Remote Detonator is a block, so place it down before wiring anything to it. Its recipe is a shaped crafting recipe. Gather the ingredients the recipe calls for, arrange them in the crafting grid, and collect the finished Remote Detonator block.

Detonating Trigger Bombs

Trigger Bombs are the explosives that respond to a detonator. The Trigger Bomb family includes: Trigger Bomb, Amethyst Trigger Bomb, Confetti Trigger Bomb, Diamond Trigger Bomb, Dirt Trigger Bomb, Frost Trigger Bomb, Golden Trigger Bomb, Pearl Trigger Bomb, and Slime Trigger Bomb. Each is made through a crafting recipe.

Place your Trigger Bomb where you want the blast. Place the Remote Detonator somewhere safe. Once both are placed, activate the Remote Detonator to set off the connected Trigger Bomb. This lets you clear terrain, break blocks, or trigger a chain of placed Trigger Bombs from a distance instead of standing next to the charge.

Practical Setup

1. Craft a Trigger Bomb of your choice.

2. Craft and place the Remote Detonator.

3. Place the Trigger Bomb at the target location.

4. Activate the Remote Detonator.

Use this when you want to mine a large area, remove a build, or set a trap without being caught in the explosion yourself.
