Reduce Eye Strain When Playing at Night
Activate the Resource Pack
Ensure Black Gui Resource Pack is enabled in your resource pack settings. The dark backgrounds are specifically designed to reduce the brightness contrast that causes eye fatigue during late-night gaming sessions.
Adjust Game Brightness Settings
Open your video settings and set your brightness to a comfortable level—not too bright, but bright enough to see details clearly. The dark GUI will complement lower brightness settings better than the vanilla bright menus would.
Combine With Game Gamma
If your game still feels too bright, lower your gamma setting slightly. This works alongside the dark GUI to create a more restful visual environment. Test different combinations until you find what feels easiest on your eyes.
Consider Your Room Lighting
Play in a dimly lit room or use ambient lighting behind your monitor to reduce the contrast between your screen and surroundings. The dark GUI pack is most effective when your environment is also relatively dark, creating a cohesive low-light experience that minimizes strain during extended play sessions.
