Customize Dark GUI Colors to Match Your Preference
Locate the Resource Pack Files
Navigate to your resource pack folder and find the Black Gui Resource Pack directory. Inside, you'll find texture files and configuration files that control the color scheme of your menus.
Edit Texture Files
Open the texture files (typically PNG images) using an image editor. These files define the dark gray backgrounds for your inventory, crafting screens, and other menus. You can adjust the color values to make them lighter, darker, or shift the tone toward blue or green tints depending on your preference.
Test Your Changes
Save your edited textures and reload your resource pack in-game. Open various menus—your inventory, a furnace, an enchantment table, and the villager trading screen—to see how your color adjustments look across all interfaces. This ensures consistency and helps you find the shade that's easiest on your eyes.
Fine-Tune as Needed
If the colors still don't feel right, return to your image editor and make incremental adjustments. Small changes to brightness or saturation can significantly impact how comfortable the menus are to use during long play sessions.
