What Flower Petal Blocks Are

Black Flower Petal Block, Blue Flower Petal Block, Brown Flower Petal Block, and Cyan Flower Petal Block are decorative blocks. Each color is a separate block, so you need the matching petals to make each one.

Crafting the Blocks

Flower Petal Blocks are made by combining flower petals of the matching color. Gather the petals from the corresponding flowers, then use a crafting recipe to press them into a solid block. Because each color has its own block, keep petals sorted by color before crafting so you do not mix them up.

Using Petal Blocks in Builds

Petal Blocks work as colorful flooring, wall panels, or accent stripes. Because they come in distinct colors, you can lay patterns by alternating blocks. Use them alongside other decorative blocks such as Block of Rose Quartz for a bright contrast, or against Black Sandstone and Cut Black Sandstone for a darker backdrop.

Petals come from flowers found across biomes. Blue Hydrangea, Burning Blossom, and Clover are examples of plants you can collect. Explore different biomes to gather a range of petal colors, then return to your crafting station and convert each color into its matching Flower Petal Block. Stockpile petals before a large build so you have enough of each color to finish the pattern.
