Cutting and Chiseling Sandstone

Biomes O' Plenty adds three sandstone families: Black Sandstone, Orange Sandstone, and White Sandstone. Each one has a Cut and a Chiseled version. Craft Cut Black Sandstone, Cut Orange Sandstone, and Cut White Sandstone from their base sandstone blocks, then craft Chiseled Black Sandstone, Chiseled Orange Sandstone, and Chiseled White Sandstone from the cut versions. These are shaped crafting recipes, so keep a stack of each base sandstone on hand before you begin.

Slabs for Smooth Floors

Cut Black Sandstone, Cut Orange Sandstone, and Cut White Sandstone each have a matching slab: Cut Black Sandstone Slab, Cut Orange Sandstone Slab, and Cut White Sandstone Slab. Craft slabs from the cut blocks to build smooth floors and low ceilings. Black Sandstone also has a full decorative set: Black Sandstone Slab, Black Sandstone Stairs, and Black Sandstone Wall, all crafted from Black Sandstone. Black Sand is the raw material behind the black family, so gather it first if you want to produce Black Sandstone from scratch. Mix the three colors in one build for contrast, or keep a single family for a uniform facade.
