Converting Fir Logs into Building Blocks

Chop Fir Log and Fir Wood, then craft them into Fir Planks. Those planks are the base for the whole Fir set. Craft Fir Slab, Fir Stairs, Fir Fence, Fir Fence Gate, Fir Door, Fir Trapdoor, Fir Button, and Fir Pressure Plate using shaped or shapeless recipes from Fir Planks. Make several stacks of planks at once so you can move through the list without returning to a crafting table repeatedly.

Signs, Shelves, and Water Travel

Fir Planks also produce Fir Sign and Fir Wall Sign, plus Fir Hanging Sign and Fir Wall Hanging Sign. Fir Shelf is another plank-based craft for displaying items. For crossing water, build a Fir Boat and a Fir Boat with Chest. Fir Sapling grows into Fir Log and Fir Leaves, so replant saplings after each harvest to sustain the supply. Because every Fir block in this set derives from Fir Planks, one stand of Fir trees is enough to furnish a full build, from the slab floor to the hanging sign at the entrance.
