How to Build with Terracotta Bricks and Tapestries

Biome Makeover adds colored Terracotta Bricks and matching Tapestries for detailed builds. Each color has a full block plus slab, stairs, and wall variants.

Terracotta Brick Sets

Available colors are Black, Blue, and Brown. Each set includes the base block (Black Terracotta Bricks, Blue Terracotta Bricks, Brown Terracotta Bricks) plus a Slab, Stairs, and Wall version. Craft the base bricks first, then use a stonecutter to cut slabs, stairs, and walls from them — stonecutting covers 123 recipes in this mod, so it is the fastest route for shape variants. Use slabs for floors and ceilings, stairs for rooflines, and walls for railings and trim.

Tapestries

Black Tapestry, Blue Tapestry, Brown Tapestry, and the Adjudicator Tapestry are wall hangings. Place them on walls to break up large brick surfaces or to mark rooms. The Adjudicator Tapestry pairs naturally with an Altar setup.

Mixing Materials

Combine Terracotta Bricks with Blighted Stone Bricks, Blighted Cobblestone, or Brown Mushroom Bricks for contrast. Cracked Bricks and Cracked Dried Peat Bricks add weathered variants to the same palette. Build a sample wall of each color first, then commit to the palette that matches your base.
