How to Make Nutrient Paste and Nutrient Bars

Nutrient Paste is the base food product you will use constantly. Process organic materials through the Digester block to break them down, then move the output into the Bio-Forge for further crafting. The Decomposer handles a separate breakdown path, feeding into the same chain. Once you have the intermediate compounds, combine them in the Bio-Forge to produce Nutrient Paste.

Crafting Nutrient Bars

With Nutrient Paste on hand, use a crafting recipe to press it into Nutrient Bars. These are the portable form you carry while exploring. Keep a stack in your inventory before heading into dangerous areas, since the paste itself is bulkier to manage.

Scaling Production

Build a loop: Digester breaks down raw organic input, Bio-Forge assembles the results into paste, and a crafting step converts paste to bars. If you need larger volumes, run multiple Digesters in parallel and feed their outputs into a single Bio-Forge. The Maw Hopper can move items between these blocks automatically, so you can set up a hands-off line. Store finished Nutrient Bars in a Fleshkin Chest near your crafting area so they are always within reach.
