How to Craft Grenades

Making Grenade Casings

Start by crafting Grenade Casings in the Bio-Forge. These are the empty shells you will fill with different payloads. You will need Organic Compound and other intermediates from the Bio-Forge to make them. Produce a batch of casings before moving on to the payloads.

Filling Grenades

Once you have casings, craft the three grenade types: Acid Grenade, Decay Grenade, and Incendiary Grenade. Each uses a different compound in its recipe. Acid Grenade uses caustic materials, Decay Grenade uses decaying additives, and Incendiary Grenade uses incendiary compounds. All three are crafted in the Bio-Forge or a crafting table depending on the recipe. Check the recipe viewer for exact ingredients.

Using Grenades in Combat

Throw grenades by right-clicking while holding one. Acid Grenade applies corrosion to enemies and blocks. Decay Grenade spreads decay effects over an area. Incendiary Grenade sets fire to the impact zone. These are useful for clearing groups of mobs or breaking through flesh blocks. Carry a mix of all three so you can adapt to different situations. Restock at your Bio-Forge between fights.
