Surviving on Alien Worlds: Oxygen, Suits, and Rovers

Oxygen Supply

Craft Oxygen Gear and an Oxygen Tank. Fill the tank at the Oxygen Loader, which needs power from a Coal Generator. Place an Oxygen Bubble Distributor to create a breathable area around your base. Refill tanks before every trip outside.

Suits

Wear a full Space Suit: Space Helmet, Space Suit, Space Pants, Space Boots. Upgrade to the Netherite Space Suit set for more protection. The Jet Suit, Jet Suit Helmet, Jet Suit Pants, and Jet Suit Boots allow flight, useful for crossing rough terrain.

Rovers

Craft a Rover for surface travel. It uses Wheel and Engine Fan components. Drive between resource sites instead of walking to save oxygen.

Building on the Surface

Use local stone to build: Moon Stone Bricks, Mars Stone Bricks, Mercury Stone Bricks, Venus Stone Bricks, Venus Sandstone Bricks, and Glacio Stone Bricks, plus their Slab and Stairs variants. Cracked versions exist for each. Glacio Wood Planks, Slabs, Stairs, Door, and Trapdoor give you wood builds on icy worlds.

Power and Water

Place Solar Panel for daytime power and a Water Pump for fluid. Mark locations with a Flag or Iron Mark so you can find your base again.
