Cutting Stone Bricks and Slabs with a Stonecutter

Preparing the Stonecutter

Place a Stonecutter in your base and right-click to open its interface. It accepts raw stone blocks and outputs decorative variants without consuming fuel. Keep a stack of the base stone in your inventory before you begin.

Cutting Moon and Mars Stone

Insert Moon Stone to produce Moon Stone Bricks, Cracked Moon Stone Bricks, and their slab and stair variants. Insert Mars Stone to produce Mars Stone Bricks, Cracked Mars Stone Bricks, Mars Stone Brick Slab, and Mars Stone Brick Stairs. Insert Mars Sand to produce Mars Sand variants where the interface offers them.

Cutting Mercury and Glacio Stone

Insert Mercury Stone to produce Mercury Stone Bricks, Cracked Mercury Stone Bricks, Mercury Stone Brick Slab, and Mercury Stone Brick Stairs. Insert Glacio Stone to produce Glacio Stone Bricks, Cracked Glacio Stone Bricks, Glacio Stone Brick Slab, and Glacio Stone Brick Stairs.

Building with the Output

Use the brick and slab variants for base walls, floors, and landing pads. Cracked variants are purely decorative and behave identically to their uncracked counterparts. Combine Glacio Stone Bricks with Glacio Wood Planks, Glacio Wood Stairs, Glacio Wood Slab, Glacio Wood Door, and Glacio Wood Trapdoor for a complete habitat build.
