Crafting Each Piece

The Jet Suit is a four-piece set: Jet Suit Helmet, Jet Suit, Jet Suit Pants, and Jet Suit Boots. Each piece is crafted separately at a normal crafting table using Iron Plate, Iron Rod, and Compressed Steel. Craft all four before you attempt to fly.

Equipping the Suit

Wear the full set in the four armor slots. The suit only provides flight when all four pieces are equipped; missing any one piece disables thrust. Keep the suit repaired with Iron Plate at an anvil.

Fueling Flight

The Jet Suit consumes Fuel while airborne. Carry a Fuel Bucket in your offhand or hotbar so you can refill mid-flight. Without Fuel the suit falls, so never launch over a large drop with an empty tank.

Flying Safely

Tap the jump key to ascend and release to hover. Use short bursts rather than holding the key, which drains Fuel faster. Land on solid ground before switching to a rocket or entering a vehicle. The suit works on every planet surface, including Mars Stone and Glacio Stone terrain.
