Crafting and Using the Jet Suit for Safe Exploration

Assembling the Suit

Craft each Jet Suit piece separately: Jet Suit Helmet, Jet Suit Oxygen Mask, Jet Suit Pants, and Jet Suit Boots. The Oxygen Mask is the critical piece — without it you cannot breathe on airless worlds like the Moon, Mars, Mercury, or the void between planets. Equip all four slots before launching.

Fueling Flight

With the full Jet Suit equipped, you gain flight and jump assistance. Keep Fuel Buckets in your inventory to refill. Produce Fuel at a Fuel Refinery using the Fuel Bucket recipe chain. Store spare Fuel in a Calorite Tank or Desh Tank at your base so you can top up between trips.

Landing and Surviving

When you land on Mars, Mercury, Glacio, or Venus, watch your oxygen. The Oxygen Mask drains as you move. Return to a pressurized base or your ship before it empties. Bring a Coal Torch or Coal Lantern for light — many planet surfaces are dim, and hostile mobs like the Alien, Alien Zombie, Martian Raptor, and Mogler spawn in low light.

Base Setup

Build a Barricade Block perimeter around your landing zone. Use Glacio Wood Door, Glacio Wood Trapdoor, and Glacio Wood Planks for a quick shelter. Place an Earth Globe, Mars Globe, Mercury Globe, or Glacio Globe as a navigation marker so you can find your base from the air.
