Crafting a Full Rocket and Launching It

Rocket Components

Build the rocket from four parts: Rocket Nose Cone, Rocket Fin, and an Engine. Engine options are Calorite Engine, Desh Engine, Steel Engine, and Ostrum Engine — each uses its matching ingot. Craft the parts at the §dNASA Workbench.

The Launch Pad

Place a Rocket Launch Pad on flat ground. The assembled rocket sits on the pad. Surround the pad with clear space so the rocket is not blocked.

Fuel and Oxygen

Fuel the rocket using the Fuel Refinery. Fill Oxygen Tanks at the Oxygen Loader, then equip an Oxygen Tank before launch. Without oxygen gear you cannot survive outside a breathable area.

Suits and Gear

Wear a full Space Suit (Space Helmet, Space Suit, Space Pants, Space Boots) or the stronger Netherite Space Suit set. The Jet Suit and its Helmet, Pants, and Boots let you fly. Oxygen Gear and an Oxygen Bubble Distributor keep you supplied on the surface.

Launching

With the rocket fuelled, oxygen equipped, and suit worn, board the rocket on the launch pad and launch. Bring a Rover for surface travel once you land.
