Setting Up Snow Golems with Cores and Containers
Placing a Golem
Use a Snow Golem Container to spawn a golem without building a snowman by hand. Insert a Golem Core into the container before placing it to define the golem's behavior. The Blank Golem Core is the base; combine it with a Tracking Core, Unstable Core, or Super Power Core to specialize it.
Core Effects
- Golem Core: Movement Prediction — leads its throws at moving targets.
- Golem Core: Critical — lands critical hits more often.
- Golem Core: Regeneration — slowly heals itself.
- Golem Core: Swiftness — moves faster.
- Golem Core: Thrust — throws snowballs with extra force.
- Golem Core: Repulsive — pushes enemies away.
- Golem Core: Near Teleportation / Ender Teleportation / Active Teleportation — blinks short or long distances.
Managing Golems
Use the Snow Golem Mode Tweaker to switch a placed golem between aggressive, passive, or stationary behavior. The Snow Golem Core Remover extracts an installed core so you can swap it for another. The Snowman in Hand lets you carry a golem and redeploy it elsewhere. Combine a Super Frozen Core with a golem to keep its snow from melting in warm biomes.
Team Assignment
Hand a Team Linker (any color) to a golem to assign it to your team. Golems with matching linkers ignore each other and focus on opposing players and monsters. Use the Target Locator alongside tracking snowballs to direct a golem's fire at a specific enemy.
