How to Craft and Fire the Snowball Cannon

Building the Cannon

Combine the Snowball Cannon with a supply of ammunition before you head out. The cannon consumes snowballs from your inventory, so keep a stack of plain snowballs or any specialized variant on hand. If you want automatic fire, upgrade to the Snowball Machine Gun or Snowball Shotgun; each trades rate of fire against spread and impact.

Loading and Firing

Place the cannon, then right-click it while holding snowballs to load. Aim by looking where you want the shot to land and right-click again to fire. The Freezing Snowball Cannon applies a freeze effect on hit, while the Implosion Snowball Cannon pulls nearby entities toward the impact point. The Powerful Snowball Cannon deals heavier knockback but consumes ammunition faster.

Ammo Choices

• Explosive Snowball: area damage on impact.
• Frozen Snowball: slows the target.
• Ghost Snowball: passes through blocks before detonating.
• Ender Snowball: teleports the target a short distance.
• Sculk Snowball Launcher: fires Sculk Snowball for a sensor-like effect.

Pair the cannon with a Target Locator to mark a spot, then fire tracking snowballs such as Light Player Tracking Snowball or Heavy Monster Tracking Snowball so the projectile homes in on the marked target. Reload between shots if the cannon has a cooldown; the Snowball Machine Gun holds more rounds before needing a refill.
