Display Player Head Icons Next to Names in Tab List

Find the Head Display Setting

Open your Better Ping Display Remake configuration. Look for the showPlayersHead option.

Enable Player Heads

Toggle showPlayersHead to on. This setting controls whether player skin heads appear as small icons in the tab list.

Verify in Multiplayer

Join a multiplayer server or world. Open the tab list (default key: Tab). You should now see a small square avatar of each player's skin head displayed next to their username and ping number.

Customize Alongside Other Settings

Player heads work well combined with other mod features. You can enable this alongside custom fonts (tabFont), auto-colored ping text (autoColorPingText), and your pinned username (prioritizeSelfInTabList) for a fully customized tab experience.

Performance Note

If you experience lag with many players online, disabling this feature may help, as rendering many player skins requires additional resources. Toggle it back off by setting showPlayersHead to false.
