Change Ping Text Color to a Fixed Color

Access the Configuration

Open your mod configuration menu (usually accessible via the mods list or a dedicated config screen). Navigate to the Better Ping Display Remake settings.

Disable Auto-Coloring

Locate the autoColorPingText option and toggle it off. This disables the automatic green-to-red gradient that normally changes based on connection speed.

Set Your Custom Color

Find the pingTextColor setting. This option only takes effect when auto-coloring is disabled. Enter your desired color value. Most Minecraft mods use hexadecimal color codes (like FFFFFF for white or FF0000 for red).

Apply and Test

Save your configuration changes. Open the multiplayer tab list to verify that all ping numbers now display in your chosen fixed color instead of varying by latency. The color will remain consistent regardless of how fast or slow each player's connection is.

Revert to Auto-Coloring

If you want to return to the dynamic color scheme, simply re-enable autoColorPingText and the mod will resume coloring pings from green (fast) to red (slow).
