Apply a Custom Font to Player Names and Ping Numbers

Open Configuration Settings

Access your Better Ping Display Remake configuration menu.

Select a Font

Locate the tabFont option. This setting lets you choose from available custom font styles that will be applied to all player names and ping numbers in the tab list.

Choose Your Preference

Different font options may include styles optimized for readability, decorative fonts, or monospace variants. Select the one that best suits your preference and visibility needs.

Apply and Preview

Save your configuration and open the multiplayer tab list. All text—including player names, ping values, and any prefix tags—should now display in your chosen custom font.

Combine with Other Customizations

Custom fonts work together with other features like auto-colored ping text, player head icons, and your pinned username. Experiment with different font choices to find the visual style that feels most comfortable during gameplay.

Readability Tip

If a font makes ping numbers harder to read at a glance, try switching to a clearer option. The goal is quick, accurate information at a glance.
