Monitor Despawn Time While Exploring Far from Drops

Check Before You Leave

Before moving far from your dropped items, look at each pile and note the Jade countdown timer. This tells you how much time you have to return and collect everything.

Plan Your Route

Use the remaining time to decide whether you can safely explore further or need to return immediately. If items have only a few minutes left, head back rather than risk losing them.

Return Strategically

If you're deep in a cave or far from your drops, mark the location and estimate travel time. Make sure you can return before the red indicator appears. The color shift gives you a visual warning that time is running out.

Manage Multiple Drop Sites

If you've left items in several locations, mentally rank them by despawn urgency. Visit the oldest drops first to prevent loss. The Jade timer helps you remember which site you visited longest ago.

Adjust Your Config if Needed

If you frequently find yourself running out of time, consider increasing the despawn duration in your configuration. This gives you more breathing room for extended exploration sessions without losing loot.
