How to Get an Elytra in Better End

Crystalite Elytra

The mod adds a Crystalite Elytra alongside the vanilla Elytra. It is part of the Crystalite armor set, which also includes Crystalite Helmet, Crystalite Chestplate, Crystalite Leggings, and Crystalite Boots. Crystalite gear is made through the mod's infusion and smithing processes, so you will need to gather Crystalite materials and the supporting ingredients those recipes call for.

Armored Elytra

There is also an Armored Elytra. This is a combined item that pairs elytra flight with armor protection. It is produced through a smithing_transform recipe, meaning you combine an elytra with armor pieces on a smithing table. The exact armor you merge determines the resulting protection, so pick the chestplate tier you want before starting.

Progression Notes

Both elytra options sit late in the progression. Build up your Aeternium and Crystalite supply first, since the smithing and infusion stations you need are the same ones used for the rest of the endgame gear. Once you have the materials, the smithing table handles the Armored Elytra, while the Crystalite Elytra comes from the infusion line.
