Making Fins, Reinforced Fins, and Ultra Glide Fins

Basic Fins

Fins go in the boots slot and increase your swim speed. Craft them from Fiber Mesh and Titanium Ingot at a crafting table. Even the basic pair makes a noticeable difference when crossing large bodies of water or escaping hostile mobs.

Reinforced Fins

Reinforced Fins are the mid-tier upgrade. Craft them from Fins plus additional Titanium Ingot and Fiber Mesh. They are built for rougher water and longer dives where basic Fins wear out too quickly.

Ultra Glide Fins

Ultra Glide Fins are the top tier. Craft them from Reinforced Fins plus more Titanium Ingot and Fiber Mesh. They give the fastest swim speed of the three.

Upgrade Path

Follow this order so you never waste materials:

1. Craft Fins as soon as you have Fiber Mesh and Titanium Ingot.

2. Dive for more Titanium Chunk and smelt it into Titanium Ingot.

3. Craft Reinforced Fins from your existing Fins.

4. Gather more Fiber Mesh and Titanium Ingot.

5. Craft Ultra Glide Fins from Reinforced Fins.

Each upgrade consumes the previous pair, so do not craft a second set of basic Fins once you are ready to upgrade. Pair your Fins with Wetsuit Leggings for cold resistance.
