Why You Need Power Cells

Every O₂ Tank refill consumes a Power Cell. Without a steady supply, your dives end early. Craft several Power Cells before a long expedition so you never surface without air.

Crafting a Power Cell

A Power Cell is crafted at a crafting table from processed metals and a Redstone Chunk. Gather the required chunks, smelt them into ingots, then combine them into the cell. Keep the recipe in mind as you gather: Redstone Chunk is the key ingredient, so mine redstone-bearing areas while diving.

Refilling Tanks

To refill, place a Power Cell and your Standard O₂ Tank, High Capacity O₂ Tank, or Reinforced O₂ Tank together in a crafting grid. The charge transfers to the tank and the Power Cell is consumed. Repeat as needed.

Stockpiling

• Mine Redstone Chunk whenever you see it.
• Smelt chunks into ingots in bulk using a blast furnace.
• Craft Power Cells in batches of five or more.
• Store spare cells in a chest near your dive entry point.
• Bring at least two cells per long dive.

A full stack of Power Cells lets you refill many times without returning to base, which matters most when exploring deep water far from shore.
