Skipping Crate Tiers with Combined Golden Upgrades

When to use a combined upgrade

The mod includes three combined upgrades: Copper/Golden upgrade, Tin/Golden upgrade, and Iron/Golden upgrade. Each one takes a lower-tier crate straight to §fGolden crate in a single step, skipping the intermediate tiers.

Use them when you already have a §fCopper crate, §fTin crate, or §fIron crate and want to reach the Golden tier without crafting every upgrade in between.

Matching the upgrade to the crate

• §fCopper crate + Copper/Golden upgrade → §fGolden crate
• §fTin crate + Tin/Golden upgrade → §fGolden crate
• §fIron crate + Iron/Golden upgrade → §fGolden crate

Do not apply a combined upgrade to the wrong crate. A Copper/Golden upgrade is only useful on a §fCopper crate; a Tin/Golden upgrade only on a §fTin crate; an Iron/Golden upgrade only on a §fIron crate.

After reaching §fGolden crate, continue the normal chain with the Diamond upgrade to make a §fDiamond crate, then the Obsidian upgrade to make a §fObsidian crate.

All of these are crafting_shaped recipes, so place the crate and the matching upgrade together in the crafting grid to perform the conversion.
