How to Craft a Wooden Crate and Upgrade It

Craft the base crate

Start with the §fWooden crate. It is the entry point for every other crate in the mod. Once you have a §fWooden crate placed or in your inventory, you can begin the upgrade chain.

Apply upgrades in order

Upgrades are separate items: Wooden upgrade, Copper upgrade, Tin upgrade, Iron upgrade, Golden upgrade, Diamond upgrade, and Obsidian upgrade. Each upgrade is applied to an existing crate to convert it to the next tier.

Progression logic:

• §fWooden crate → apply Copper upgrade → §fCopper crate
• §fCopper crate → apply Tin upgrade → §fTin crate
• §fTin crate → apply Iron upgrade → §fIron crate
• §fIron crate → apply Golden upgrade → §fGolden crate
• §fGolden crate → apply Diamond upgrade → §fDiamond crate
• §fDiamond crate → apply Obsidian upgrade → §fObsidian crate

There are also combined upgrades: Copper/Golden upgrade, Tin/Golden upgrade, and Iron/Golden upgrade. These let you jump a crate directly to the Golden tier from Copper, Tin, or Iron without stepping through every intermediate crate.

Keep your upgrades in your inventory and apply them to the crate you want to advance. Because all recipes in this mod are crafting_shaped, arrange the crate and the matching upgrade in the crafting grid to produce the next crate.
