How to Craft Kindling and Its Variants

Crafting Kindling

Kindling is the base block of its own family. Craft it first, then use it to make the three shaped variants. The set includes:

• Kindling
• Kindling Slab
• Kindling Stairs
• Kindling Vertical Slab

Make Kindling Slab by cutting Kindling into slab form. Make Kindling Stairs by arranging Kindling into the stair pattern. Make Kindling Vertical Slab from Kindling as well. Each variant is a separate registered block, so you can place them independently.

Building with Kindling

Use Kindling as a full building block, then break up flat surfaces with Kindling Slab for half-height edges and Kindling Stairs for slopes and rooflines. Kindling Vertical Slab fills the gap that normal slabs leave on vertical faces, letting you build thin walls, pillars, and window frames that stay one block thick.

A practical pattern: lay a floor of Kindling, line the edges with Kindling Slab, run Kindling Stairs up the sides, and use Kindling Vertical Slab for corner trim. Because all four share the same material, the build reads as one consistent texture.
