How to Build a Colored Lamp Wall

Choosing Your Palette

With seventeen lamp blocks available, you can build a full color wall. The plain Terracotta Lamp anchors the design, and the sixteen colored lamps fill in the rest:

White Terracotta Lamp, Light Gray Terracotta Lamp, Gray Terracotta Lamp, Black Terracotta Lamp, Brown Terracotta Lamp, Red Terracotta Lamp, Orange Terracotta Lamp, Yellow Terracotta Lamp, Lime Terracotta Lamp, Green Terracotta Lamp, Cyan Terracotta Lamp, Light Blue Terracotta Lamp, Blue Terracotta Lamp, Purple Terracotta Lamp, Magenta Terracotta Lamp, Pink Terracotta Lamp.

Laying Out the Wall

Craft each lamp you need, then place them in a grid. A simple approach is a gradient: start with White Terracotta Lamp at the top, step through Light Gray Terracotta Lamp and Gray Terracotta Lamp, and finish with Black Terracotta Lamp at the bottom. For a rainbow, order them Red Terracotta Lamp, Orange Terracotta Lamp, Yellow Terracotta Lamp, Lime Terracotta Lamp, Green Terracotta Lamp, Cyan Terracotta Lamp, Blue Terracotta Lamp, Purple Terracotta Lamp, Magenta Terracotta Lamp, Pink Terracotta Lamp.

Leave a column of plain Terracotta Lamp between color bands to separate them. Place lamps flush in the wall so only their lit faces show.
