How to Make Glow Berry Pips and Sweet Berry Pips

Turning Berries Into Pips

Pips are the starting point for the rest of the Berry Good food chain, so make them first. Both Glow Berry Pips and Sweet Berry Pips come from a crafting_shapeless recipe that consumes the raw berry you already have.

1. Gather Glow Berries or Sweet Berries.

2. Open a crafting grid.

3. Place the berries in a shapeless arrangement.

4. Take the resulting Glow Berry Pips or Sweet Berry Pips.

Shapeless means the position of the berries in the grid does not matter, only which berry you use. Glow Berries produce Glow Berry Pips; Sweet Berries produce Sweet Berry Pips. Keep the two types separate, because later recipes use them for different results.

Why You Want Both

Glow Berry Pips feed into Glowgurt, while Sweet Berry Pips feed into Sweet Berry Mince and Sweet Berry Meatballs. If you plan to cook more than one dish, craft a stack of each pip type in one sitting rather than converting berries one at a time.
