How to Get Impure Bedrock Scrap and Impure Bedrock Ingots

Turning Raw Material Into Scrap

Impure bedrock scrap is the base material for every piece of impure bedrock gear. You obtain it by blasting the raw material in a furnace. Place your source material in the top slot of a furnace, add fuel, and let the blasting recipe run. The output is impure bedrock scrap.

Scrap to Ingots

Impure bedrock scrap does not become usable gear on its own. You need to convert it into impure bedrock ingot. Combine your scrap through the crafting grid to produce ingots, then stockpile them. Every tool, weapon, and armor piece in this mod is built from impure bedrock ingot, so the more ingots you bank, the more gear you can make in one session.

Why You Need Both

Keep scrap and ingots separated in your storage. Scrap is the intermediate step; ingots are the currency of the mod. When you later craft a Block of impure bedrock or a full armor set, you will be pulling from your ingot stack, not your scrap stack. Plan your furnace runs around how many ingots each recipe consumes so you do not run short mid-craft.

Practical Loop

Mine or gather your source material, blast it into impure bedrock scrap, craft that scrap into impure bedrock ingot, then store the ingots. Repeat until you have enough for the gear you want. This loop feeds every other guide in this set.
