How to Craft the Full Impure Bedrock Armor Set

The Four Pieces

Impure bedrock armor comes in four slots: impure bedrock helmet, impure bedrock chestplate, impure bedrock leggings, and impure bedrock boots. All four are crafted from impure bedrock ingot using shaped recipes, following the same slot layouts as standard armor.

Crafting Order

1. Craft the impure bedrock helmet first. It uses the smallest ingot count of the set, so it is the cheapest piece to test your ingot supply against.

2. Craft the impure bedrock chestplate next. It is the most expensive piece and protects the largest area.

3. Craft the impure bedrock leggings.

4. Craft the impure bedrock boots last.

Equip each piece as you finish it so you always have partial protection while you gather more ingots for the next slot.

Managing Ingot Costs

Total ingot cost across the full set is high, so run your scrap-to-ingot loop in batches. Blast a large stack of source material into impure bedrock scrap, convert all of it to impure bedrock ingot, then craft armor pieces back to back. This avoids stopping mid-set to restart the furnace.

Alternative Route

If you already wear armor you want to keep, use the impure bedrock upgrade smithing template to apply impure bedrock to existing pieces through a smithing transform. This skips the shaped crafting step and preserves any enchantments already on the gear.
