Making Polished Bedrock and Polished Bedrock Bricks

From Chunk to Polished Block

Polished Bedrock is the smooth, refined form of the mod's base material. Take your Bedrock Chunks to a stonecutter and cut them into Polished Bedrock. The stonecutter is the fastest route because it gives you exact shape control without filling a crafting grid.

Brick Variants and Their Shapes

Once you have Polished Bedrock, cut it again on the stonecutter to produce Polished Bedrock Bricks. From there the stonecutter unlocks the full shape family: Polished Bedrock Brick Slab, Polished Bedrock Brick Stairs, and Polished Bedrock Brick Wall. The plain Polished Bedrock also cuts into Polished Bedrock Slab, Polished Bedrock Stairs, and Polished Bedrock Wall.

For a more decorative finish, cut Polished Bedrock Bricks into Chiseled Polished Bedrock Bricks. This variant is purely visual and works well as a highlight band in a wall or floor.

Keep a stack of Polished Bedrock on hand as your intermediate. Every brick, slab, stair, wall, and chiseled block in this chain traces back to it, so processing a large batch at once saves repeated stonecutter trips.
