Building with Bedrock Doors, Trapdoors, and Lamps

Functional Bedrock Fixtures

The mod adds working fixtures made from bedrock material. Bedrock Door, Bedrock Trapdoor, and Bedrock Lamp are the three you will place most often. Craft them from your Bedrock Chunks and Polished Bedrock using the crafting table, then place them like any vanilla door, trapdoor, or light source.

Bedrock Door fits a two-block-tall doorway and opens and closes normally. Bedrock Trapdoor works on floors, ceilings, and walls, and is useful for hidden entrances or controlled drops. Bedrock Lamp provides light and suits builds where you want illumination that matches the dark bedrock palette.

Glass and Walls

Bedrock Glass and Bedrock Glass Pane let you add windows without breaking the theme. Place Bedrock Glass as full blocks, or craft it down into Bedrock Glass Pane for thinner window frames and grid patterns.

For structure, use Bedrock Wall, Bedrock Stairs, and Bedrock Slab. These are the plain bedrock shapes, distinct from the Polished Bedrock and Polished Bedrock Brick families. Mix plain Bedrock Wall with Polished Bedrock Brick Wall to create depth along the same wall line, and cap columns with Bedrock Slab for a clean top edge.
