Optimize Frame Rate with Beauderful Shaders

Check Current Performance

Launch your game and open the debug screen (F3 on most systems) to monitor your current FPS. Note your baseline performance before making adjustments.

Reduce Quality Settings

Access the shader menu and look for Shadow Quality or Render Distance options. Lowering shadow resolution is often the most effective way to boost FPS without losing the shader's visual character. Reduce shadow map size incrementally and test performance after each change.

Disable Optional Effects

If available, toggle off Ambient Occlusion or Parallax Mapping features. These enhance realism but consume more resources. Beauderful Shaders is designed to run efficiently, so disabling one or two effects shouldn't drastically change the aesthetic.

Monitor Results

After each adjustment, return to your world and check FPS again. The goal is finding the balance between visual appeal and smooth gameplay. Even older computers should maintain playable frame rates with conservative settings.
