Make Underwater Scenes Look Better
Enable Water Enhancements
Open your shader settings and locate water-related options. Beauderful Shaders typically includes Water Reflections or Caustics settings that enhance underwater visuals. Enable these if they're toggled off.
Adjust Underwater Fog and Lighting
Look for Underwater Fog Color or Water Clarity sliders. The blue iris glow pairs well with water, but you can fine-tune how the blue tint interacts with the water shader. Increasing clarity makes underwater exploration feel less claustrophobic.
Test Different Depths
Swim to various depths—shallow water, mid-depth, and ocean floor—to see how the shader renders at each level. The pulsing effect can create an ethereal quality underwater. If it feels too intense in deep water, reduce the pulse intensity specifically for underwater scenes if that option exists.
Combine with Lighting
The realistic shadows mixed with fantasy colors work particularly well near underwater light sources like glowstone or sea lanterns. Position yourself near these blocks to appreciate how the shader enhances their glow.
