Feeding and Housing Animals with Troughs, Nests, and Baskets

Feeding Stations

Farm Trough is the main feeding block. Place it in the center of a pen and fill it with feed. Luxurious Feed is the high-grade feed option — use it when you want the best results from your animals. Truffle Feed is the truffle-specific feed for animals in your truffle operation. Keep a Basket nearby to collect loose drops, and a Truffle Basket if you are running a truffle pen. Flowering Hay Bale is a decorative and functional hay block — place it around the trough to build out the feeding area.

Nesting and Housing

Nesting Basket and Rabbit Nest are the two housing blocks. Place Nesting Basket for birds and general small animals; place Rabbit Nest specifically for rabbits. Each animal needs its own nest space, so count your animals before you build and place one nest per animal. Sheep Weed and Clover are ground-cover blocks that fit naturally around pens and pastures. Prismarine Flower and Wildflower Bundle add color to the enclosure. For a complete setup: Farm Trough in the middle, nests along the walls, Basket at the corner, and ground cover filling the floor.
