How to Craft Cypress Planks and Vertical Cypress Planks

Cypress Planks are the base building material for everything else in the Cypress set. You get them by processing Cypress Logs or Cypress Wood.

From Log to Planks

Place a Cypress Log or Cypress Wood into a sawing recipe to produce Cypress Planks. The same sawing route also yields Vertical Cypress Planks, which are a separate block used for vertical wall textures and for crafting Cypress Vertical Slabs. If you do not have a saw, the standard crafting grid also accepts Cypress Logs to make Cypress Planks.

Stripped Variants

Stripping a Cypress Log with an axe gives you a Stripped Cypress Log. Stripping Cypress Wood gives Stripped Cypress Wood. These stripped blocks can be sawed into Stripped Cypress Posts and are used wherever you want a smoother, bark-free look. Keep a stack of plain Cypress Planks on hand — most of the furniture and shape blocks in the set consume them.
