Decorating With Lilies, Algae, and Moss

The mod adds a full set of water and swamp decoration blocks. These are the pieces that make a bayou build read as a bayou.

Lilies

There are eight lily blocks: Blue Lily, Cyan Lily, Light Blue Lily, Light Gray Lily, Magenta Lily, Pink Lily, Purple Lily, and White Lily. Place them on water like vanilla lily pads. Each color is a separate block, so you can mix them across a pond for a varied surface.

Algae and Thatch

Algae is a green water block. Algae Thatch is the dried building form, and it has a full shape set: Algae Thatch Slab, Algae Thatch Stairs, and Algae Thatch Vertical Slab. Use Algae Thatch for roofs and walls that should look woven rather than wooden.

Moss and Ferns

Beard Moss and Beard Moss Block hang from Cypress wood and add a draped green texture. Giant Fern is a tall plant block for ground cover. Cypress Leaf Carpet and Cypress Hedge fill in low greenery between trees. Cypress Knee and Large Cypress Knee sit at the base of Cypress trees and work as natural root decoration. Combine these with the lilies and Algae to build a pond edge that transitions from water to moss to wood.
