Cypress Storage, Doors, and Redstone Blocks

The Cypress set includes functional blocks beyond simple building shapes. These are the ones you interact with.

Storage

Cypress Chest and Cypress Trapped Chest are both crafted from Cypress Planks. The trapped variant works like a vanilla trapped chest and emits a redstone signal when opened. Cypress Bookshelf holds books and enchanted books the same way a vanilla bookshelf does.

Doors and Access

Cypress Door, Cypress Trapdoor, Cypress Fence Gate, Cypress Button, and Cypress Pressure Plate are all crafted from Cypress Planks. Cypress Ladder mounts on a wall for climbing. Cypress Sign is written and placed like a vanilla sign. Cypress Post and Stripped Cypress Post are thin columns useful for framing doorways.

Redstone and Boats

Cypress Button and Cypress Pressure Plate provide redstone input. Cypress Trapped Chest provides redstone output. Cypress Boat is the water transport item for the set — craft it from Cypress Planks and use it on any water body, including Algae-covered ponds. Cypress Fence and Cypress Fence Gate control mob movement around your base. Build a small storage room with Cypress Chests, a Cypress Trapped Chest wired to a lamp, and a Cypress Door to test the whole functional set at once.
