Switch Between Quality Presets

Access Shader Settings

Open your in-game options menu and navigate to Video Settings. Look for the shader options panel—this is where you control Baunilha Shaders' quality presets.

Choose Your Preset

Baunilha Shaders includes four built-in quality profiles:

  • Potato: Minimal shadow detail and reduced lighting calculations. Best for very low-end systems.
  • Low: Basic shadows with lighter performance impact. Suitable for older hardware.
  • Medium: Balanced visuals and performance. Recommended for standard PCs.
  • High: Full shadow detail and enhanced lighting depth. Requires modern hardware.

Apply and Test

Select your desired preset and apply the changes. Your world will reload with the new settings. Spend a few minutes exploring different lighting conditions—caves, forests, and buildings—to see how shadows and visibility change between presets. If you experience frame drops, move down one preset tier. You can switch presets at any time without restarting your game.
