How to Craft and Equip Heart Canisters

Crafting the Canisters

Heart Canisters are the core of your extra health. Each colour follows the same pattern: combine a Miniature Heart of that colour with a Canister. You will need Miniature Red Heart, Miniature Yellow Heart, Miniature Green Heart, and Miniature Blue Heart to make their matching Red Heart Canister, Yellow Heart Canister, Green Heart Canister, and Blue Heart Canister.

Miniature hearts are not free — they are produced by processing Melted hearts. Melted Red Heart, Melted Yellow Heart, Melted Green Heart, and Melted Blue Heart are the inputs you smelt or craft down into their Miniature counterparts before assembling the canister.

Equipping and Upgrading

Canisters do not work loose in your inventory. They must be worn in a bauble slot. To make them wearable, craft a Heartpulse Belt in the colour you want — Red Heartpulse Belt, Yellow Heartpulse Belt, Green Heartpulse Belt, or Blue Heartpulse Belt — and place the matching canister into it. The belt is the equipable piece; the canister is the payload.

Work up the colours in order. Each colour represents a tier of extra hearts, so build the lowest tier first, wear it, then craft the next colour's Miniature Heart and Canister and swap the belt. Keep your old belts — you can move a canister between belts if you craft a new one.
