Smelting Raw Ores into Ingots

Furnace Smelting

Every raw ore in this mod smelts into its matching ingot. Put Raw Aluminum, Raw Lead, Raw Nickel, Raw Osmium, Raw Silver, Raw Tin, Raw Uranium, or Raw Zinc into a furnace with fuel to produce Aluminum Ingot, Lead Ingot, Nickel Ingot, Osmium Ingot, Silver Ingot, Tin Ingot, Uranium Ingot, or Zinc Ingot. Smelting is the slow but fuel-flexible option, and it works with any furnace fuel you already have.

Batch Processing

Load a full stack of one raw ore type into the furnace input slot and keep the fuel slot stocked. Because each ore produces exactly one ingot, a stack of raw ore yields a stack of ingots. Process one metal at a time to avoid mixing outputs in your chests, and route the ingots straight into labeled storage.

From Ingots to Nuggets

Once you have ingots, you can break them down into nuggets. Aluminum Nugget, Copper Nugget, Lead Nugget, Nickel Nugget, Osmium Nugget, Silver Nugget, Tin Nugget, Uranium Nugget, and Zinc Nugget are the small units used for fine-grained crafting and storage. Craft an ingot into nuggets when you need small quantities, and combine nuggets back into ingots when you have enough.
