Breaking Ingots into Nuggets

Nuggets are the smallest unit for each metal in this mod. Craft an ingot into nuggets to get small denominations: Aluminum Nugget, Copper Nugget, Lead Nugget, Nickel Nugget, Osmium Nugget, Silver Nugget, Tin Nugget, Uranium Nugget, and Zinc Nugget. Nuggets are useful when a recipe or trade needs only a fraction of an ingot, and they let you store or move metal in fine increments.

Recombining Nuggets into Ingots

Nuggets combine back into ingots using the standard nugget-to-ingot ratio. Gather the required number of same-metal nuggets and craft them together to produce one ingot. This means you can freely break ingots down for small jobs and rebuild them afterward without wasting material.

Practical Uses for Nuggets

Keep a stock of nuggets for precise crafting and for topping up ingots when you are a few short. Because every metal has a nugget form, you can handle small quantities of Aluminum, Copper, Lead, Nickel, Osmium, Silver, Tin, Uranium, and Zinc without opening a full ingot. Store nuggets in a dedicated chest so loose small pieces do not clutter your main ingot storage.
