Identify and Use Custom Blocks and Items

Finding Custom Content

Origin Realms includes special blocks and items unique to the server. With this resource pack installed, they display in the clean Bare Bones style instead of looking out of place.

Common Custom Elements

Look for:

• Custom chests with distinctive designs (shown in the pack's preview as styled storage)
• Decorative blocks like lanterns, signs, and building materials
• Interactive objects such as campfires and crafting stations
• Server-specific items in your inventory that have custom icons

Using Custom Items

Custom items function like regular Minecraft items—place them, craft with them, or use them as intended by the server. The resource pack only changes their appearance to match the Bare Bones style.

If Content Looks Wrong

If custom blocks or items still appear with default textures:

1. Ensure Continuity is enabled (required for connected textures on custom blocks)

2. Reload your resource packs

3. Verify you're on the Origin Realms server, not a different world
