Reduce Fire Overlay to See While Burning
Why Your Fire View is Still Blocked
When you're on fire during combat, the vanilla flame overlay can completely obscure your view of opponents. This pack significantly lowers that effect so you can track enemy movement and aim your attacks even while burning.
How to Use This Feature
The fire overlay reduction is enabled by default when you apply Banana's PVP Essentials to your world. You don't need to toggle anything—simply equip the resource pack in your resource pack menu and join a world.
When you take fire damage, you'll notice the flames at the screen edges are much smaller and less opaque than vanilla Minecraft. This keeps your central vision clear for tracking opponents.
Tips for Combat
- Use this advantage to land hits on burning enemies before they can escape
- Combine with water or healing items to manage the damage while maintaining visibility
- Practice aiming while burning in practice duels to build muscle memory
If the overlay still feels too prominent, check that the resource pack is ranked above any conflicting packs in your load order.
